DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - QUALITY ASSURANCE (BULK OPERATION)

Responsibilities

  • Design strategies/ policies in order to drive a 'Customer Centric' focus across the division thereby, meeting customer expectations successfully.
  • Provide leadership to upgrade technical knowledge, calibration methods to develop a quality culture within the organization for all levels.
  • Accountable to monitor the development of the quality teams in order to ensure their knowledge and skills are developed to achieve overall quality strategies.
  • Study key trends and developments in the industry / competitive environment and encourage innovations and novel ideas/process improvements to achieve the business strategy whilst, retaining a competitive advantage.
  • Accountable to monitor quality assurance processes are periodically reviewed and upgraded to meet different customer requirements.
  • Monitor the progress/ status of all audits to ensure the compliance as per the customer requirements.
  • Provide guidance to the quality management team on overall quality related decision making to ensure the accuracy of the decision making process.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree/ Diploma in Garment Technology and Management
  • 7 or more years of relevant work experience (Previous experience in quality processes or with consumer relevant quality standards desirable
  • Communication and Coordination skills
  • Analytical Skills
