Concord Footwear is a well-established organization and one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of high-quality safety footwear for internationally renowned European and US nations’ destinations.
We are seeking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and result-oriented individuals to join our shoe manufacturing team.
Sample Room In-Charge (Executive) _01 Vacancy in Ulapane
- Oversee the entire sample management process, from receiving and cataloging samples to organizing and storing them in an efficient manner.
- Develop and implement systems to track the movement of samples within the organization, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to various departments or clients.
- Coordinate with product development team, pattern makers, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution of sample requests.
- Manage sample room inventory, including fabrics, trims, and other materials, to ensure an adequate supply for sample production.
- Ensure that samples meet the organization’s/Customers’ quality standards by conducting thorough inspections and communicating feedback to relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate records of sample details, including specifications, changes, and approvals. Generate reports on sample status, turnaround time, and other relevant metrics.
- Supervise sample room staff, including sample makers and assistants, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of sample room equipment, tools, and resources to support efficient sample production.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as merchandising, production, and product development, to understand their requirements and communicate updates or delays regarding sample requests.
- Continuously assess sample room processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in fashion design, textile engineering, or a related field is often preferred. Relevant certifications or vocational training in sample room management can also be beneficial.
- Prior experience in sample room management or a similar role within the garment manufacturing industry is typically required.
- Proficiency in pattern making, sewing, and sample development techniques is essential. Familiarity with sample room equipment, CAD software, and other related tools is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with various stakeholders, including designers, production teams, and clients.
- Preferred age of the candidate is below 35.
