Commis I/II/III (Hot Kitchen)

FOR A RESTAURANT LOCATED IN KOTTAWA

We are an established Grill themed Restaurant, operating in Colombo (Kottawa) and in need of experienced and highly skilled Chefs to handle the hot kitchen operations. The ideal candidates should have worked in at least one pre-opening restaurant during his career.

The Job Profile

  • Chinese, Western & BBQ food preparation and presentation
  • Good WOK and BBQ Grill skills
  • Responsible for the quality & standard of food delivery
  • Stores management & smooth ordering process
  • Monitoring the junior chefs & supervising them
  • Food cost management, minimizing wastage and documentation work
  • Recipe creations, updates and innovative changes (for Sous Chef)

Our Requirements

  • Candidates with high Chef skills and age below 45
  • Recognized qualification from a Hotel School
  • Min 2-3 years' experience in the applying position
  • Flexibility to work in a roster and late hours
  • Accommodation can be provided or a living out allowance can be arranged
  • Availability to join and start immediately with a short notice
