EXECUTIVE-PRODUCT DESIGNER
CAREER PROFILE
- Create design concepts to support product development & perform research on ideations and develop designs with a scientific rationale
- Develop detailed designs / drawings/samples or prototypes by hand or using computer aided software to produce design specifications, including parts lists and BOM/costings
- Test the design concept by computerized modeling or physical hands-on testing of models
- Present product ideas to relevant stakeholders for evaluation and further development
- Suggest improvements in existing products to QA / Production / Category Marketing teams
- Be up to date with design industry trends and technologies/computer aided software
- Be a part of cross-functional teams to drive relevant projects
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- 02+ years' experience as a Product Designer
- Hands-on experience with technical product design & data visualization
- Experience with the full project life cycle including new concepts, redesigns & enhancements
- Knowledge in design principles
- Experience in customer-centric thinking to provide consistently exceptional experiences
- Ability to understand priorities & convert to designs
- Experimental mindset to drive innovation
