SENIOR EXECUTIVE / EXECUTIVE - SHIPPING
Continental Tea (Pvt) Limited is a renowned tea export company, dedicated to delivering the finest Ceylon tea to the world. We are committed to excellence, sustainability, and innovation in the tea industry.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Executive / Executive -Shipping to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire shipping process of our tea exports, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage shipping schedules and documentation for tea exports.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistic companies.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Monitor shipments and provide regular updates to internal teams and customers.
- Manage and negotiate freight costs and contracts.
- Resolve any shipping-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in shipping or logistics, preferably in the export sector.
- Strong understanding of shipping and customs regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in English and Sinhala.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office package.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
