We are seeking a Senior Banking Assistant to join our Treasury Operations Team.
The Job Role
- Processing of all transactions related to Treasury and Bank Notes Operations.
- Ensure that the transactions are processed before the stipulated timelines.
- Reporting to internal and external authorities should be completed accurately in a timely manner. Ensure that the policies and procedures are always followed while processing transactions.
- Support to the continuous growth of Treasury Operation functions.
- Preparation of Net Open Position Report
The Person
- Minimum two years of experience in a Treasury Operations role in a Commercial Bank.
- Full or part qualification in Banking or a relevant professional qualification.
- One of the below qualifications will be an added advantage:
- ACI Operations Certificate
- Dealing Certificate offered by the Center of Banking Studies of Central Bank of Sri Lanka
- Diploma in Treasury and Risk management offered by the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging environment.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- A team player with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
- Competency in MS Office package
