Pattern Maker
Location - Opanayaka Factory
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion to pursue a career in Pattern and Sampling in the apparel industry. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, team player with excellent communication, a proactive attitude and the ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
What you would do:
- Understand customer specifications and develop patterns according to the given T&A by evolving for product development process effectively preference given the candidates who are highly skilled and proficient with handling the knit fabric process both washing and dying product.
- Ability to manage the initial customer technical design packs, working with factory sample rooms to develop technically correct, FIT correct, right first-time samples made to the correct production viable standards.
- Deliver effective and complete tech pack to meet the production requirement
- Risk assessment for each technical design pack to anticipate potential issues and execute actions to resolve the issues.
- Overall knowledge of handling Knits and Woven fabrics
- Candidate should be able to perform manufacturing and product development areas. Should be able to maintain good communication/ with buyers and the brands.
What you should have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar capacity in the apparel industry
- Degree or Diploma in pattern making/grading or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & and work in a team-based environment.
