Compensation & Benefits Specialist - Ekala

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implement, at country level, the social benefits & remuneration policy in line with the Region and Group Policy.
  • Participate in the definition and evolution of systems at the Region level, as a contributor.
  • Analyze and recommend strategies to improve the effectiveness of compensation administration and the impact those policies have on employees' engagement aligning to Company's rewards philosophy.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Reward & Recognition initiatives including communication and rollout plans.
  • Analyze statistical data and reports and suggest improvements to ensure alignment with market trends.
  • Implementation of variable pay programs designed to place greater emphasis on the link between performance and pay (Bonuses & Incentives).
  • Implementation of Group's LTI program, Responsible for Country Correspondent & Employee Shareholder Correspondent for Sri Lanka BIB Action (Group's LTI program).
  • Assist in completing compensation and benefits 5 years' budgeting process and review annually with budgeting cycles.
  • Administer salary and bonus programs including annual merit review and bonus cycles.
  • Execute compensation & Benefits related policies, procedures, and forms to ensure efficiency, quality & compliance (Living wage, No gap in salary with Gender, One care Program).

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Statistics, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years' of experience mainly including Compensation and Benefits Management.
  • Very good knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS packages including Advanced Excel is a must.
  • Experience in Taxation would be a definite advantage.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills plus computer literacy.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, report preparation & coordination skills.
