REGIONAL MERCHANT SALES EXECUTIVES

The Job

Develop and execute the sales strategy to acquire new merchants and expand the merchant network within the region.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, understanding their needs and focusing on cross-selling and upselling.
  • Introduce the products and related company services to merchants while ensuring that merchants are provided with detailed information about the product offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the Business units, Operations, and Marketing to ensure seamless merchant onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and merchant feedback to identify the opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and performance to the leadership team.

The Person

  • Minimum 2 years of Sales & Marketing experience in the banking / financial industry.
  • GCE O/L with full/part qualification in SLIM / CIM or Banking is preferred.
  • Sales exposure in FMCG industry would be a definite plus.
  • Dynamic and results-oriented individual with an outgoing personality.
  • Strong work ethics and commitment in achieving assigned targets.
  • Be tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Must possess a valid riding license.
