Accounts Executive
MA'S Kitchen, is one of Sri Lanka's leading food manufacturers, with a diverse portfolio of over 300+ products, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional food solutions to retail, HoReCa, and industrial channels.
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting for a subsidiary company while working with the finance team for other parts of groups financial reporting and recording activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy.
- Generate and analyze financial reports specific to retail operations.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online.
- Stay informed of relevant regulations and accounting practices for retail businesses.
- Provide support to other departments with financial data and analysis.
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or with a full or partial qualification in accountancy through a recognized organization (eg: CIMA, ACCA, AAT, CMA)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts/finance role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be task-oriented and able to work independently.
- Experience working in a computerized accounting environment.
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks online and Microsoft Excel and able to learn other software in a short period of time.
