Management Accountant
MA's Kitchen is a well-known food manufacturer in Sri Lanka. With four manufacturing facilities situated in key growing regions, we manufacture over 300 different products for customers in local and global markets. Our unwavering commitment revolves around providing outstanding culinary solutions to the Retail, Hotels, Restaurants & Catering (HoReCa), and Industrial sectors.
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting across the group, including preparing monthly management accounts, analyzing financial data, and reporting to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the accounting team and prepare monthly management accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare reports for senior management, including variance analysis and commentary on performance.
- Provide financial support to other departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified as an accountant through a recognized organization (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, AAT, CMA).
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in accounting, including in management accounting roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Should be task-oriented and be able to work independently.
- Experience working in a computerized accounting environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
