Group HR Manager

MA'S Kitchen is a leading food manufacturer in Sri Lanka, we have a team of 600+ spread across our various locations manufacturing a diverse portfolio of over 300 products, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional food solutions to Retail, HoReCa & Industrial channels. We are passionate about using high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes to create food that everyone can enjoy.

We are seeking an organised and superior communicator to join our team to develop and implement the HR plan for the entire MA's Kitchen Group of Companies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of modern HR practices, a commitment to upholding Fairtrade and ISO 45000 standards, and the ability to implement strategies that align with our company's values. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources across our group, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain talent. The position is based in our head office in Colombo but will require visits to our other locations around Sri Lanka on a regular schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment lifecycle, including screening and calling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Implement an organized and well-structured onboarding process.
  • Implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals. Manage employee relations, including performance management, compensation & benefits, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Lead the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

You are a perfect fit if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR managerial role
  • Ability to communicate written and verbally in English and Sinhala, Tamil would be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills and must be extremely organized. The ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
