Concept Store Manager

Shape the Future of Gourmet Retail. Are you passionate about good food with the skills to build a successful retail experience? Gourmet Market by Ma's Kitchen, a growing chain of gourmet retail stores, is seeking a concept store manager Manager to join our dynamic team. The concept store manager will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations and strategic expansion of our growing retail network.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our existing stores, ensuring smooth and efficient running.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and evaluate new store locations, negotiate leases and manage store buildouts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor store staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in food retail.

Who You Are:

  • You have formal qualifications in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with strong experience in a multi-store environment.
  • A proven track record of success in driving sales growth, profitability, and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, ability to work in a computerized environment. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for food and a good understanding of food, ingredients, and cooking habits.
