Finance Manager - Power Projects

  • Develop detailed financial models to evaluate the feasibility, profitability, and financial performance of renewable energy projects.

  • Conduct sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and risk assessments to assess project viability and optimize financial outcomes.

  • Research and interpret tax regulations, incentives, and credits applicable to renewable energy projects, including investment tax credits (ITC), production tax credits (PTC), and depreciation schedules.

  • Collaborate with tax advisors and legal experts to optimize tax strategies, minimize tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal stakeholders, investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies.

  • Analyze financial data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and project metrics to monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Assist in the development of project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections for renewable energy projects.

  • Monitor budget variances, analyze financial performance against targets, and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial objectives.

  • Evaluate financing options and structures for renewable energy projects, including debt financing, tax equity financing, and project finance.

  • Assist in the negotiation of financing agreements, loan documents, and equity investments to secure funding for project development and construction.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and accounting, preferably in the renewable energy industry.

  • Knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards relevant to renewable energy projects.
