Finance Manager - Power Projects
Develop detailed financial models to evaluate the feasibility, profitability, and financial performance of renewable energy projects.
Conduct sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and risk assessments to assess project viability and optimize financial outcomes.
Research and interpret tax regulations, incentives, and credits applicable to renewable energy projects, including investment tax credits (ITC), production tax credits (PTC), and depreciation schedules.
Collaborate with tax advisors and legal experts to optimize tax strategies, minimize tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Prepare financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal stakeholders, investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies.
Analyze financial data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and project metrics to monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist in the development of project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections for renewable energy projects.
Monitor budget variances, analyze financial performance against targets, and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial objectives.
Evaluate financing options and structures for renewable energy projects, including debt financing, tax equity financing, and project finance.
Assist in the negotiation of financing agreements, loan documents, and equity investments to secure funding for project development and construction.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
3+ years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, and accounting, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
Knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards relevant to renewable energy projects.
