Swing Ceylon opened on November 11, 2023. Our vision is to create a vibrant oasis where the thrill of mini-golf and the allure of nightlife converge, offering an unforgettable experience that entertains, connects, and enlivens our community.

ROX Bar Grill will be the new addition to this oasis, providing a place to chill and take in the beauty of Swing Ceylon. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional food, drinks, and service, as well as providing a welcoming environment for guests of all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of Food and Beverage operations in the Restaurant and the Bar, including guest services, Front of the House, and the Heart of the House.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
  • Utilize strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage staff, resources, and guest relations.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to guest service recovery, along with implementing corrective actions.
  • Identify performance gaps and conduct continuous training for all team members.
  • Perform performance-driven appraisals for all team members.
  • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen and bar utensils, and cleaning products.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, based on good manufacturing practices and good hygiene practices.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly F&B inventories and provide cost-effective measures to control waste.
  • Generate detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
  • Promote the brand within the local community through word-of-mouth.
  • Recommend strategies to reach a broader audience through an F&B promotional activities calendar for the month, maximizing social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Restaurant and Bar Management or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Proficient in management and administration.
  • Ability to interact with guests professionally and exceed their expectations.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules.
  • Attentive to productivity execution.
