Senior BI Developer
Scope
Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer encompasses various responsibilities that involve leveraging data to provide valuable insights and support strategic decision making within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other departments BI requirements and design with junior developer and follow up junior developers to execute and automate BI
- Take leadership/ownership and responsibility at task assigned by his supervisor and daily/weekly update to him
- Developing and maintaining data models, data warehouses, and databases to support business needs.
- Creating and managing ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into the data warehouse.
- Building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decision-making.
- Documenting data models, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer within the team and maintain consistency in development approaches. Keeping up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of business intelligence and data analytics.
Requirements
- Mathematics/IT/ well known expert in Power BI, Python and R/data base, data cleaning and data with expert knowledge/ BI gate way installation and gate way access.
- More than 3 years of hands-on experience working specifically with Power BI in designing and developing complex reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights for business decisions.
- Close to Avissawella area will be an added advantage.
- Male candidate is preferred.
