We are looking for SENIOR ACCOUNTANTS/ACCOUNTANTS GENERAL LEDGER.

Job Description:
We are looking for experienced resources to join our team for a Power & Energy company in the Middle East. This position will be based in Sri Lanka. Our client is a developer, investor, and operator of power generation and desalinated water plants with 64 assets in operation, construction, or advanced development across 13 countries, with an investment value in excess of $66 Billion.
Responsibilities:
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closure processes with ownership of Trial Balance.
- Prepare monthly financial statements as per deadlines.
- Prepare all month-end schedules and reconciliations.
- Involved in all accounting operations including, A/R, A/P, & GL.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager/Financial Controller & client teams.
- Assist in training new staff.
Requirements:
- Final level of CA Sri Lanka/CIMA/ACCA or Degree holder in Commerce, Business Management/Finance from a reputed university.
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity of hands-on experience in finalization of monthly accounts.
- Working knowledge of Accounting Standards.
- Experience with reputed ERP systems. Working knowledge of Oracle and HFM is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability and willingness to work based on client calendar and working hours.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Age between 25-40.
