RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive and handle beverage orders from service staff or directly from customers.
Expertly mix a variety of ingredients, including liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to craft cocktails and other beverages.
Serve a diverse selection of beverages, including wine, cocktails, and bottled beer.
Create and maintain an organized and well-stocked bar area, including inventory.
Management and ordering supplies as needed.
Train and mentor junior bartenders and bar staff, ensuring they adhere to quality standards and customer service protocols.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and update beverage menus, incorporating seasonal offerings and trending cocktails to enhance the guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent vocational educational certifications.
Demonstrate strong active listening skills, the ability to proactively assist others, and a keen awareness of social norms and reactions.
Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector or exhibit a strong interest in pursuing career in culinary arts.
Showcase a fervent dedication to exceeding customer expectations through exceptional service.
Have a proven track record of 2-3 years in Food and Beverage operations within a luxury boutique or hospitality establishment.
Display innate hospitality instincts, a penchant for embracing challenges, and commitment to delivering excellence.
Reside in the Galle area, which will be advantageous during the selection process.
