SENIOR BARTENDER

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and handle beverage orders from service staff or directly from customers.
- Expertly mix a variety of ingredients, including liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to craft cocktails and other beverages.
- Serve a diverse selection of beverages, including wine, cocktails, and bottled beer.
- Create and maintain an organized and well-stocked bar area, including inventory.
- Management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and mentor junior bartenders and bar staff, ensuring they adhere to quality standards and customer service protocols.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and update beverage menus, incorporating seasonal offerings and trending cocktails to enhance the guest experience.

REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent vocational educational certifications.
- Demonstrate strong active listening skills, the ability to proactively assist others, and a keen awareness of social norms and reactions.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector or exhibit a strong interest in pursuing career in culinary arts.
- Showcase a fervent dedication to exceeding customer expectations through exceptional service.
- Have a proven track record of 2-3 years in Food and Beverage operations within a luxury boutique or hospitality establishment.
- Display innate hospitality instincts, a penchant for embracing challenges, and commitment to delivering excellence.
- Reside in the Galle area, which will be advantageous during the selection process.
