Michelin, the leading tire company, is dedicated to sustainably improving the mobility of goods and people by manufacturing and marketing tires and services for every type of vehicle, including airplanes, automobiles, bicycles/motorcycles, earthmovers, farm equipment and trucks. Michelin in Sri Lanka (formerly Camso Loadstar) operates 14 sites including manufacturing plants, Research & Development, Global IT and Finance as a shared service.
INTERN (Based in Ekala, Ja-Ela)
This is an opportunity to work on real projects and initiatives, gaining valuable experience and insights into the workings of a leading manufacturing platform. Through this experience, you will have the chance to develop professional skills and network with industry experts, contributing to impactful projects that support professionals in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee wellness roadmap
- Draft posters, and announcements, develop, and facilitate employee conversations about DEI
- Assist with the launch of employee resource groups
- Coordinate and support events related to diversity, equity, inclusion, employee engagement, and Well-being
- Assist with the creation of presentations/videos and other content for marketing
- Support the global annual survey deployment in Sri Lanka
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or following a professional qualification in Marketing Management/ Human Resource Management or relevant field
- Excellent Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize in changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other MS Office packages
