HEAD OF IT INFRASTRUCTURE AND SYSTEMS
Responsibilities
- Oversee IT service delivery for multiple faculties, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring a secure environment.
- Plan, procure, and deploy IT infrastructure upgrades to maintain competitiveness and security.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of College Management, HR, and Finance Systems.
- Execute strategic plans for IT infrastructure and systems as per the Board's directives.
- Act as Secretary to the Information Technology Committee (ITC), appointed by the BOG.
- Manage IT staff and ensure smooth operation and maintenance of IT equipment and services.
- Support and train staff in utilizing ERP system.
- Liaise with staff to ensure timely IT service delivery.
- Implement IT/IS services aligned with institutional policies and technological advancements.
- Manage information security policies, compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, and data protection regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from a University in Sri Lanka or any other overseas universities approved by the UGC.
- Professional qualification in the field of IT is preferred.
- More than 5 years of experience in the field of IT with 2 years of managerial experience.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Dynamic and friendly personality.
- Capable of meeting deadlines on various tasks and assignments with minimal supervision.
