Furniture Designer
Draughtsperson

Responsibilities:
- Site inspections and measured drawings.
- Produce detailed furniture drawings and specifications for furniture, fixtures and finishes.
- Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials.
- Met with clients and designed furniture in accordance with the client's requirements.
- Ensure that the planned design is met with the consideration of the client's budget and deadlines.
- Creating detailed design floor plans, elevations, material specifications and managing project timelines.
- Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
- Be proficient in the use of layer management and drawing set-up in accordance with national standards and best practice guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same position ideally in the furniture interior designing.
- Relevant Diploma or professional certificate from a recognized institute would be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of interior design basics.
- Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Lumion and Revit would be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A portfolio showcasing your Drawings, furniture detailed drawings and creativity is highly encouraged.
