THE JOB INCLUDES
- Sourcing packing materials, flavours, spices, herbs and engineering items.
- Ensuring timely availability of materials as per time schedules at the right cost.
- Visiting suppliers and farmers to inspect their standards and best practices.
- Coordinating with statutory bodies and authorities for the renewal of certificates, licenses, and obtaining required data.
- Assisting in strategic sourcing activities such as analyzing trends in demand and analyzing supply markets to introduce alternate suppliers, developing sourcing strategies, and evaluating supplier performance.
- Raising POs for required materials, liaising with Warehouse for POS/GRNs, and coordinating with suppliers on timely deliveries.
- Implementing and improving processes in procurement management based on best practices.
APPLICANT PROFILE
- Knowledge and prior experience in sourcing and procuring packing materials, flavours, spices, herbs, and engineering items.
- Minimum of 10 years proven track record, with a minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in a similar capacity in a manufacturing environment with exposure to best practices in supply chain management.
- Possessing a sound academic background with a degree or an equivalent professional qualification related to the Procurement/Supply Chain Management field from a recognized university or a professional institute.
- Should possess a proactive personality with a strong work ethic and commendable analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Age below 45 years.
