POSITION - STOREKEEPER

Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual looking to take on a pivotal role in managing our storeroom operations? We're seeking a dedicated storekeeper to oversee all aspects of stock management, from ordering and receiving to issuing stock items.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, withdrawals, and inventory levels.
  • Receive, unload, and organize incoming supplies efficiently.
  • Label supplies, handle returns of damaged items, and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Implement a "first in, first out" system for managing stock.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation to track stock levels effectively.
  • Enforce inventory control measures, including setting minimum stock and reorder levels. Manage stock-related issues and records diligently.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and inventory management practices.
  • Familiarity with stockroom or warehouse operations and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills for precise mathematical computations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in data entry, analysis, and systems like SAP.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • 5-7 years of experience in storekeeping and inventory control.
