TEAM LEAD - DATA CENTER SOLUTIONS
Sumathi Information Technologies (Private) Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Sumathi Holdings and commenced business in the arena of computer networking & data communication in 2001 and has grown into a complete System Integrator offering total ICT solutions under one roof. We are currently looking for a dynamic, result-oriented professional for the above post to look after the Data Center Solutions of the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead a bunch of Engineers in pre-sales and post-sales activities of the division and assist in building the Data Center Division.
- Act as an advocate for the product portfolio carried by Sumathi IT in fulfilling the expectations of customers and assist sales teams in positioning appropriate solutions. Take ownership of issues and challenges on behalf of our clients to address and resolve them by leveraging the Data Center Team capabilities and the extended Sumathi IT team.
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Telecommunication, Computer, IT, Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a reputed University.
- 5+ years of Hands-on experience/exposure in three or more of the following Data Centre technologies:
- Servers (x86 - Dell/HP/Lenovo, IBM POWER)
- Virtualization technologies (VMWare/POWERVM/Nutanix)
- Storage technologies (IBM/Huawei/Netapp/HDS)
- Backup and Archival Tools (Veritas, Commvault, Veeam)
- End-to-end monitoring Tools (Instana, Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic)
- Public, Private or Hybrid Cloud Technologies
- Should have at least mid-level certifications of leading Data Center solution vendors.
- Having experience of more than 2 years at a successful management/leadership role especially at a Principal vendor or another Systems Integrator firm will be an added advantage.
