Position: Assistant Manager/Executive-Maintenance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities in new installations or modifications ensuring the activities are carried out as per requirements.
- Facilitate uninterrupted operations at the business unit by ensuring the electrical/electronic breakdowns are attended to in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations for maintenance or renovation projects and forward information to relevant authority for the supplier selection process.
- Support construction or expansion projects at the business unit by coordinating with contractors for the timely completion of the same.
- Ensure adherence to energy-saving initiatives in order to conserve energy and reduce waste in the business unit.
- Ensure the accurate and timely submission of required reports, obtaining of licenses and relevant testing reports whilst forwarding same to Management for decision making.
- Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the SLGG, following group/company policies and procedures, best practices (where the group/company policies and procedures are not defined), relevant laws and regulations, and undertaking every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Degree (or Equivalent) qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Knowledge of Power Electricals, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge or exposure in ISO/LEAN/TPM/AC/Chiller system will be an added advantage.
- Good coordination and team player skills.
