Compliance Officers
Needed for Leading Australian RTO
The Role: As a Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our courses, policies, and procedures adhere to the stringent standards set by ASQA. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence and compliance in the vocational education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review systems and documentation for compliance with ASQA standards.
- Review trainer/assessor qualifications and professional development, staying in contact with them to ensure that they remain compliant with ASQA standards.
- Answer student enquiries related to compliance and their course requirements.
- Prepare for and participate in external audits and reviews.
- Advise and assist staff in compliance matters and continuous improvement processes.
- Develop and implement compliance training for staff.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the RTO's operations are in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidates:
- Hold a Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) with 2-3 years of experience in a law firm or legal department will be a significant advantage.
- Have experience in compliance roles, preferably within the education sector or industries with stringent compliance standards.
- Possess a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Are detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
Candidates with experience in Australian-affiliated educational institutions or those familiar with Australian educational compliance standards will be highly regarded.
