Head Interior Designer
Possess the ability to apply a sense of style to create an aesthetically pleasing interior with high proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and other design software such as SketchUp & 3D Max.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for a variety of interior projects, including but not limited to residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail spaces.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, goals, and vision, translating their ideas into innovative and functional design concepts.
- Develop comprehensive design proposals, including mood boards, sketches, renderings, and material palettes, that communicate the vision for each project.
- Develop design concepts that reflect the latest trends while maintaining the brand's identity and values.
- Oversee all phases of the design process from concept development to project completion, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
- Mentor and guide a team of interior designers in the creation of innovative, high-quality design projects.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors to coordinate project logistics and achieve desired outcomes.
- Participate in marketing and business development efforts to enhance the firm's market presence and attract new clients.
An ideal candidate should possess
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Minimum of 8 years' experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and other relevant design software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of residential and commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and furnishings, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and build relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proven track record in managing client relationships and leading design projects from inception to completion.
