Job Description
We are a Sri Lankan company manufacturing educational toys, Board Games and stationery items under 'Panther' Brand. The product process includes, designing, manufacturing, selling and distribution, including online marketing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for setting the creative vision and direction for the company's products and ensuring that the design output aligns with the overall brand and business objectives.
- Allocating and monitoring of design resource to ensure that quality work will be completed on time and to budget.
- Work closely with Internal/External teams to deliver solutions to improve results of promotions and product development.
- Work with the Management team and Design consultants to develop new business concepts.
- Experience in working with Brand License products (Ex. Mattel Disney etc.) - Added Advantage
- Guide, coach, and support the development of design team members
- Mentor designers regularly and grow / manage talent
- Performing market research to create better designs.
- Supervising design projects and aiding the team from the beginning to the end.
Qualifications
- Age below 45 years.
- Design Degree is a must.
- 5 - 10 Years of experience in a managerial or senior level design post in a reputed origination. (Preferably Offset Printing organization)
- In-depth knowledge on Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Must have strong visual sense and ability to think creatively to come up with new and engaging design concepts.
- Ability to lead design projects from concept to finalization.
- Ability to act as a leader and Manage and Guide a team. / Be a good team player.
- Must have organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
- Ability work with tight deadlines.
- Ability to work long hours as and when required.
