Job Description:
- Conduct comprehensive research on prevailing fashion trends and discern consumer preferences.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and sales to innovate new product concepts.
- Utilize sketching expertise to visualize designs and ensure seamless procurement of requisite fabrics and trims.
- Engage in meticulous research to optimize product design processes and ensure cost-effective manufacturing.
- Maintain proactive communication channels with merchandising and development teams to facilitate seamless workflow.
- Oversee supplier interactions, fabric testing, and prototype sample management with meticulous attention to detail.
- Spearhead the design process for forthcoming seasons while actively participating in sales meetings to align strategies with market demands.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating originality and creativity.
- Strong eye for detail and precision in design, patternmaking, and finishing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Willingness to embrace new challenges and learn new techniques.
