We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated, and results-oriented teacher to join our team.
TEACHER-HISTORY (Edexcel Curriculum) - Middle school possibly IGCSE
DUTIES:
- Delivering engaging History lessons on different time periods, movements, and other historical events and figures.
- Providing extra support to struggling students and additional resources to those who display exceptional interest in History.
- Sourcing guest speakers and organizing events and educational field trips.
- Keeping abreast of current events/movements and using these themes to keep historical content relevant.
- Compiling lesson plans according to the Edexcel syllabus.
- Conducting revision lessons in preparing students for their Examinations.
- Making examination papers and mark schemes for all internal assessments
- Marking all student work and delivering timely feedback to them.
- Needs to be organized and manage time efficiently to be able to complete syllabus in timely manner. - Need to be an engaging and collaborative Teacher
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Creating interest in the subject with the students and allowing them to express their creativity.
- Able to conduct online lessons using Microsoft Teams.
APPLICANTS SHOULD:
- Have a love and passion for History
- Possessing a degree in Arts is preferred.
- Ideally a minimum of three years' experience teaching the subject
- Candidates are expected to have good computer literacy and the ability to prepare and teach in smart classrooms and engage in online teaching activities.
- Have experience in teaching Edexcel curriculum.
- Be dedicated in preparing innovative lessons that involves student engagement.
- Motivate students to meet the challenges.
- Be a team player who is willing to participate in all school events and work as a passionate and committed member of the team
