The Person We Are Looking For..
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated person of good character with professional qualifications, ethics & with outstanding communication skills for the post of Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and manage all warehouses at SriLankan Catering, including the Raw Materials Warehouse. He is responsible for managing and overseeing the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse and Inflight Stores, ensuring the quality standards are met. The successful candidate will report to the Manager - Finance and be responsible for tasks optimizing the productivity of the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Expertise in coordinating and optimizing warehouse operations and comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, inventory management, and warehousing.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials go through the standard procedure within the set lead time to guarantee accurate quantities.
- Develop and improve warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, and timely deliveries.
- Maintain stock accuracy and conduct periodic cycle counts.
- Analyze stock aging, trends, short expiry items, and propose solutions in coordination with the relevant departments to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
