Audiologist
Requirements:
- Age must be below 30 years.
- Minimum qualifications BASLP, BSc in Audiology and above. Good communication skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with computer and software applications.
- Willingness to conduct research and travel to conferences.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, test, diagnose, and manage hearing loss and other related disorders in children and adults.
- Counsel patients about hearing health and the possible need for treatment.
- Helping the patients choose the best hearing aids and provide fitting, programming, and audiologic rehabilitation to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Hearing aid dispensing and troubleshooting.
- Supervise and conduct newborn hearing screening programs.
- Maintaining reports and records of patients.
- Counsel patients and families/caregivers on the psychosocial adjustments of hearing loss by building a good rapport.
