COLLECTION W15 comprises of a suite of villas located in Weligama, Ahangama, Colombo, Nuwara Eliya and Hanthana. Each location has been carefully selected and each property was painstakingly developed to appease a niche clientele who visit our properties all year round. We will leave no stone unturned in our quest to identify an exceptional individual who will bring on board a degree of refinement and finesse that could be translated into creating precision communication and to welcome more visitors to our properties.

RESIDENT MANAGER

Resident Manager should have an excellent level of commercial awareness, who can build and maintain relationships with internal and external guests. Also responsible for highlighting short/medium/long-term issues to the Management and to help formulate solutions.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fully responsible for all aspects of all departments and overall management of operation of the property.
  • Support and work with all Head of Departments in all aspects of running this property.
  • Responsible for operative condition of all areas of the hotel.
  • Conduct operations team meetings to discuss operational matters, targets, guest feedback, service recovery Operational checks in all areas.
  • Monitor the purchase requisitions of departments (receivables, payables).
  • Store and Inventory Checks with all departments.
  • Dealing with Suppliers/Vendors.
  • Inspecting all departments for SOP implementation, to meet standards.
  • Monitor the co-ordination between all departments for smooth & efficient operations.
  • Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction and service recovery process.
  • Regular meetings with department heads to review & train the staff, business matters and targets.
  • Identifying staff learning needs and assisting with development.
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports.
  • Cost Management with Profit Maximisation.
  • After hour shifts in form of Duty Manager on call 24 hours.
  • Able to problem solve & handle emergencies in effective manner.
  • Customer focused and presentable appearance.
  • Fluent in English and preferable in other foreign languages.
  • Any other duties assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
  • Computer Knowledge, MS Office. Experience in Property Management Software's, Revenue Management Systems.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years' work experience in a 3 to 5 Star Hotel as a Deputy Manager, Asst. Operations Manager or Hotel Manager.
