Vacancy for the position of Cashier
Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC operates with the vision to be the market leader in elevating and enriching lives in Sri Lanka.
The position holder will be responsible for accurately handling cash and credit card transactions, maintaining proper records of all financial transactions in the IFS ERP system. He/She will be placed at our Refrigerator manufacturing facility at Ratmalana.
Personal Profile
- Minimum 03 years of experience in a similar role.
- Part qualification on Academic or professional stream. Eg: AAT, CA (Sri Lanka), Higher National Diploma, CMA
- Basic Maths and computer skills
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
- High level of energy with strong customer service skills
- Helpful and courteous approach to resolving complaints
Job Profile
- Proper maintenance of Petty Cash Imprest as per the guidelines given by the Company
- Accurately handling of cash, credit cards, Singer Gift vouchers and Bank transfers
- Recording cash and hire purchase sales in IFS ERP System
- Handling scrap sales and all other miscellaneous sales
- Handling of employee payments
- Handling cash deposits and withdrawals from banks
- Count and verify the cash balance at the end of each working day
