Looking for a suitable candidate for the post of Maintenance Manager

We are a multinational BOI company in Horana Export Processing Zone, currently seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Manager to contribute to our continued success in the manufacturing plant which is equipped with the most up to date state of art machineries.

Scope

Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of machineries and Buildings. Keep up and running the ERP system of the company and related maintenance of all software & and hardware. Accountable for project development, design, technical consultation, implementation of automation, and machine improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the periodic maintenance of sophisticated and state of art machineries to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Ensure the availability of required spare parts at any given time and for an uninterrupted production process without downtime.
  • Should be able to carry out PLC programming and liaise with overseas support desks.
  • Support the implementation of engineering solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize processes.
  • Lead project development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering department.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce automation and advanced technologies to improve machine efficiency and productivity.
  • Should be able to troubleshoot in the ERP system and guide the team for Zero downtime.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Degree in BSc Engineering in a recognized university - Preferred in Mechanical stream.
  • Excellent Communication skills in Sinhala & English.
  • Fluent in computer literacy together with AutoCAD drawing.
  • Sound knowledge in PLC programming.
  • Working in an ERP environment and ability to lead an IT department.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.

Remuneration

Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
