Pulse Hotels & Resorts is a global hospitality development company with a difference. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Project Procurement to manage procurement and supply logistics for ongoing and upcoming resort development projects.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Project Procurement

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on construction projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of all required materials and equipment.
  • Source and procure construction materials, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), OS&E (Operating Supplies and Equipment), project equipment, and machineries, securing the best prices and quality.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and maintain a robust supplier network to facilitate the procurement process.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and vendors, securing favorable conditions while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Manage logistics for international supplies, including arranging the most economical freight options, organizing customs clearances, and ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
  • Work closely with project managers and on-site teams to forecast needs and ensure a seamless supply chain.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in global procurement strategies and logistic solutions.
  • Oversee and report on procurement activities, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals and project timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to international procurement and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in procurement, specifically in construction project environments.
  • Proven track record of managing procurement and logistics for international construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry's standards and requirements.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex procurement and logistics issues.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in the use of procurement software and tools, with an ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with proficiency in English.
