SHOWROOM MANAGER

Job Role Overview

  • Organize all showroom operations and allocate responsibilities to the staff
  • Hire, Train, Manage and guide staff towards maximum performance in order to achieve monthly sales targets
  • Assigning KPIs for staff and staff profiling
  • Prepare and control the showroom's budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
  • Monitor stock levels and purchases
  • Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the showroom's reputation and maintain good customer service
  • Inspect the areas in the showroom and resolve any issues that might arise
  • Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
  • Keep well informed of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the showroom
  • Provide training to showroom staff in order to build team succession
  • Ensure that the showroom fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
  • Manage Inventory and stock clearance

Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 5 to 6 years of managerial experience in Retail
  • Knowledge and experience in retail sales/store management best practices in the fashion industry
  • Ability to identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
  • Ability to maintain staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
  • Keep the store and visual merchandising to a phenomenal standard
  • Computer literate with knowledge in MS Office
  • Fluent in Sinhala and English, both oral and written
