SHOWROOM MANAGER

Job Role Overview

Organize all showroom operations and allocate responsibilities to the staff
Hire, Train, Manage and guide staff towards maximum performance in order to achieve monthly sales targets
Assigning KPIs for staff and staff profiling
Prepare and control the showroom's budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
Monitor stock levels and purchases
Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the showroom's reputation and maintain good customer service
Inspect the areas in the showroom and resolve any issues that might arise
Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
Keep well informed of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the showroom
Provide training to showroom staff in order to build team succession
Ensure that the showroom fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
Manage Inventory and stock clearance

Qualifications Required

Minimum 5 to 6 years of managerial experience in Retail
Knowledge and experience in retail sales/store management best practices in the fashion industry
Ability to identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
Ability to maintain staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Keep the store and visual merchandising to a phenomenal standard
Computer literate with knowledge in MS Office
Fluent in Sinhala and English, both oral and written
