SHOWROOM MANAGER
Job Role Overview
- Organize all showroom operations and allocate responsibilities to the staff
- Hire, Train, Manage and guide staff towards maximum performance in order to achieve monthly sales targets
- Assigning KPIs for staff and staff profiling
- Prepare and control the showroom's budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and purchases
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the showroom's reputation and maintain good customer service
- Inspect the areas in the showroom and resolve any issues that might arise
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
- Keep well informed of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the showroom
- Provide training to showroom staff in order to build team succession
- Ensure that the showroom fulfills all legal health and safety guidelines
- Manage Inventory and stock clearance
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 to 6 years of managerial experience in Retail
- Knowledge and experience in retail sales/store management best practices in the fashion industry
- Ability to identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
- Ability to maintain staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Keep the store and visual merchandising to a phenomenal standard
- Computer literate with knowledge in MS Office
- Fluent in Sinhala and English, both oral and written
