The organization has well established Projects in Piliyandala, Nuwaraeliya, Galle, Anuradhapura, Monaragala, Jaffna, Gandara, Peraliya, Malpotha and Mallavi invites applications from highly committed individuals who meet the requisite qualifications for the position given below.

MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT - CV PILIYANDALA

The maintenance assistant will be a key part of the maintenance team and report to the maintenance officer. Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor service schedules
  • Perform minor repairs and monitor all external repairs of vehicles
  • Maintain all records pertaining to vehicles such as insurance, repair records, revenue licenses, and running charts
  • Attend to and coordinate assigned maintenance activities of the Children's Village
  • Coordinate maintenance related purchasing activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years similar work experience and a diploma or NVQ qualification in relevant discipline is preferred
  • Sound knowledge in all maintenance activities and related documentation is required
  • Candidates must have a Heavy Vehicle driving license
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of the English Language is desired
  • Candidates living close to Kesbewa or Piliyandala will have an advantage
