MARINE PERSONAL SUPERINTENDENT
JOB PROFILE
- Coordinate and supervise the recruitment, training, and development of marine personnel.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with maritime regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the performance and competency of marine personnel.
- Manage crew scheduling, rotations, and ensure adequate staffing levels for vessels.
- Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve personnel-related issues.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures for marine personnel.
- Provide support during emergency situations and incidents at sea.
PREREQUISITES
- Class 1 or 2 COC (Deck or Engine) is required.
- Proven experience as a Marine Personal Superintendent or in a similar role within the maritime industry.
- In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with crew management software and other relevant maritime technologies.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Certification in safety and emergency response procedures is a plus.
