ChildFund International is a non-sectarian and non-profit development organization working in 24 countries to help children living in poverty to have the capacity to improve their lives and the opportunity to bring lasting changes to their communities.
ChildFund Sri Lanka has been active in Sri Lanka since 1985 and our interventions are aimed at ensuring equal opportunities for infant, young children, and youth to reach their full potentials through improved health, nutrition, education and skills. We endeavor towards building a safe, protective and enabling environment for children at home, within the community and in society.
ChildFund Sri Lanka is currently providing direct and indirect support to over 250,000 children, their families, and communities in selected divisional secretariate divisions in 11 districts including Mullaitivu and Vavuniya.
ChildFund Sri Lanka has been providing technical assistance to ORHAN (Organization for the rehabilitation of handicapped) in Vavuniya and 06 DPOS (Disabled People's Organizations) in Mullaitivu district to enhance their capacity to effectively implement community based inclusive development interventions. During next 06 months period ChildFund Sri Lanka is planning to help these organizations to build their capacities through introducing/updating/strengthening their systems, policies, procedures, guidelines and providing training opportunities for governing board members, staff members, volunteers etc on various aspects of governance and management.
In order to implement above capacity building initiatives ChildFund is looking for well qualified and experienced consultants or consultancy firms who can deliver the expected results in time and up to the level of high standards.
We look for professional consultants to take up below assignments.
The consultant/consultancy firm must have qualifications and experience mentioned below.
Application process
Interested applicants must submit separate proposals for the above assignments that includes methodology for delivering the expected outputs, time frame, detailed budget, qualification and experience of the consultants involved, support expected from the DPOs and ChildFund. One applicant/organization can apply for more than one assignment. We expect the selected consultant to complete these assignments within the number of days mentioned in the specific TOR. The budget should clearly indicate an all-inclusive total consultancy fee in SLR. This must include the consultants' fee, travel accommodation cost for consultants, stationaries, training materials etc. ChildFund will arrange the meals, accommodation and other necessary facilities for the DPO participants for training/information gathering sessions etc and coordinate for the requests for information, pre-assessments etc.
