We are on the lookout for a dynamic, experienced, committed individual to manage and support the general operations at our newly inaugurated capacity development centre at the Inaya Garden Complex in Kandy district.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Facility Manager will be responsible for managing & coordinating all programmes (events, workshops, lectures, etc) including logistics such as classroom / lecture hall allocations, budget management, Food & Beverages provision, upkeep & maintenance of the facilities, repairs & renovations, security, CCTV, landscaping, cleaning, waste disposal, parking, etc.
- Coordinating with programme managers to facilitate professional, timely, proactive arrangements to conduct their respective programmes with the highest levels of compliance & standards.
- Managing, in coordination with HR & Admin, the assigned support staff for different roles within the premises and reporting to the board & executive management on the performance matrices.
- Manage all accommodation and catering related logistics as per organizational guidelines to facilitate residential programmes at the premises.
- Proactively engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders in the capacity as the head of the facility including but not limited to, centre tours, promotion of facilities, compliance reporting and general management tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity (hospitality/location management experience in Sri Lanka or overseas will be advantageous)
- Degree or Professional Qualifications in a related field is preferred
- Fluency in English and Sinhala/Tamil (both written and spoken) plus basic IT skills
- Age above 35 years and preferably living around Kandy/Peradeniya area.
