Operations Manager
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled professional Operations Manager to lead this adventure. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our delivery operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of packages while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our team of drivers, dispatchers, and customer service representatives to streamline processes, improve performance, and implement best practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day delivery operations, including route planning, dispatching, and tracking shipments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Optimize delivery routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor delivery performance metrics and implement strategies to improve on-time delivery rates and reduce transit times.
- Resolve delivery issues and customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline COD operations, enhance efficiency, reduce costs and coordinate with linehaul operators to deliver promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Collaborate with other departments, including customer service and finance, to resolve issues and optimize processes.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth pickup and delivery processes.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of delivery personnel.
- Expand island-wide branch network and appoint suitable agents to manage deliveries.
- Correspond with respective parties
- Proven experience 1-2 years in operations management, preferably in the e-commerce or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
