WE'RE HIRING
SENIOR ENGINEER
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE (SECURITY)
Synthesis
EXPERIENCE
- Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022 with at least experience managing.
- Microsoft SCCM or Microsoft Configuration Manager
- Virtualisation technologies (Nutanix AHV / VMWare ESXi / HyperV)
- Digest of application documentation
- Awareness of application packaging and deployment using SCCM
- Patching techniques and version control
- 3rd Party Patching application
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (2016 and later)
- App testing including UAT
- Active Directory: DNS/DHCP/Site & Services/AD management
- PowerShell scripting
- Patch management tools experience
- Network file services (NAS, CIFS, SMB, DFS)
- Server backup/restore processes (Both snapshot as well as traditional/cloud backup techniques)
- Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure services in Azure (IAAS, Azure AD, Storage, Networking etc.)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant academic qualifications
- Willingness to work during UK business hours
EXPERIENCE/EXPOSURE IN AS MANY AREAS
- Virtual server environments
- Server Load-balancer configurations
- Common web server applications (IIS, .net, Tomcat, etc) DNS/DHCP/NTP/SNMP
- Cisco and Aruba /HP LAN / WiFi networking technologies.
- Knowledge of MPLS, QOS, COS, IPSEC, 802.1, 802.2, 802.1x and 802.11
- Checkpoint firewall management
- F5 load balancer management
- Forcepoint proxy management
