Manager - Talent Development (Location - Colombo)
Anunine is a vastly diversified organization with an evolving presence in a number of dynamic business sectors, from packaging, renewable energy and power generation, industrial tire manufacturing, plastic recycling, sugar cultivation and manufacturing, trading of heavy machinery, paper manufacturing, fashion, e-commerce, and early stage venture capital.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic candidate to be a part of our journey and develop our 2000+ human resource whilst heading the talent development function for the group. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment, driving employee engagement, and supporting the professional growth of our team members.
Role we expect:
- Identify the development priorities of human resources methodologically and plan long term, medium or short-term actions to develop staff.
- Develop a succession planning module for key positions in the organization and take the lead for execution.
- Design required training programs for the staff and plan out to deliver on time.
- Lead to introduce competency development framework for required position in the group and train management team to access competencies.
- Lead technical training unit for group and develop skill inventories for operational staff.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, ensuring clear performance expectations and providing constructive feedback.
- Develop and execute initiatives to boost employee morale, engagement, and productivity.
What you required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-4 years in a managerial role, preferably within a group of companies or a similar multi-business environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in talent management, learning and development, and employee engagement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
