PL.MTT. Muthukaruppan Chettiar is one of Sri Lanka's pioneer Jewellers growing from strength to strength seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, professional for the role of Manager - Branch Inventory Analyst & Control.
Manager Branch Inventory Analyst & Control
The Manager Branch Inventory Analyst & Control will report directly to the Director Inventory Management and is responsible for planning, Analysing, and ensuring the smooth supply of Jewellery inventory to the Branch network. The job holder is also required to monitor day-to-day sales, fast-moving items, inventory ratios, customer demands, etc, and guide the Director Inventory Management ensuring timely supply of Branch jewellery inventory.
Job Profile
- Monitoring daily sales, customer demand, future trends, seasonal promotions, fast-moving stocks, aging stocks, etc, and ensuring timely supply and up-to-date Branch jewellery inventory.
- Advise the Inventory Director and Heads, with proper data and information for an accurate decision-making process and timely supply of Inventory.
- Analyzing of inventory data and information to identify moving trends, optimize stock levels, and minimize outdated and aging inventory.
Analyse daily product movements and supply levels to anticipate inventory issues and shortages in the Branch network, efficiently streamlining the Branch inventory control.
- Support Finance, Inventory Dept, and Branch network to optimize performance and profits, provide necessary MI on Inventory control for decision-making and future improvement.
- Maintain required stocks and records using the designated stock system.
- Identify any losses, stock stagnation status, and possible risk factors in the inventory and implement strategies to overcome same.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in procurements, logistics, supply chain management, and any related professional qualification, an MBA is preferred.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with analytical tools is highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years' Experience in inventory management, and any proven track records in procurement and inventory management within the gold industry will be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Good business acumen.
- Familiar with ERP system.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Age between 40 to 50 years.
