Assistant Manager - Planning & Corporate Finance

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out long-term financial forecasting & planning.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting process, setting overall budgeting parameters for the Group.
  • Develop, review and monitor overhead budgets and actuals.
  • Conduct project feasibility analysis, evaluating returns on capital expenditures (capex) and other projects
  • Perform valuations for investments and divestments, coordinate with investment banks, assist in Information Memorandum (IM) preparation, etc.
  • Provide financial analysis and assistance for cost and productivity improvement projects
  • Coordinate and ensure quarterly and annual reports to shareholders/Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) are released on a timely basis.

Basic Qualification and Requirements

  • A member of CIMA/ACCA/CA with a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience.
  • Prior experience in corporate finance and/or corporate planning functions will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy and a high level of presentation and communication skills are required.
  • Age below 35 years is preferred.
  • Strong financial planning skills and good knowledge of management accounting practices.
  • Prepared to work with a high sense of responsibility and flexibility in working hours to achieve set targets.
