CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
KEY REQUIREMENTS

Overall responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance as well as negotiations.
Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion.
Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans.
Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community.
Reports financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances, and developing improvements.
- Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- Should be a member of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting
- Minimum 05 years' experience in accounting and financial management practices
- Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Male Preferred
- Should be able to work on late hours and be available at any given time. Salary package will be 500,000/= and other benefits
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Prepare financial statement and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for all financial functions of related operations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
- Liaising with Auditors, IRD and other relevant parties.
- Preparation of annual budget
- Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Preparation of financial statements and finalize audit report
- Monthly management report preparation and submission
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivables, billing, general ledger entries, and month-end/year-end close process.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Fully or partly qualified in Chartered or CIMA and Bachelor's degree in Accounts and finance
- Experience in handling annual audits and taxation
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar capacity
- Candidate should be result-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and maintain high standards
- Prior experience in a public limited company will be a definite advantage
- Be self-organized and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Male Preferred
- Should be able to work late hours and be available at any given time
