Jr Merchandiser

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the merchandising activities, ensuring smooth coordination between various departments, and contributing to the successful execution of product strategies. Responsibilities:

  • Order Coordination:
    • Assist in the coordination and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
    • Communicate with suppliers to monitor production timelines and address any issues that may arise.
  • Sample Management:
    • Track and organize samples for office, meetings, and production reference.
    • Follow up 3rd party testing and communicate with stakeholders.
    • Updating the systems, maintain accurate and up to date records
    • Download tech packs from Kubix and forward them to the suppliers.
    • Provide Tier 2 (T2) supplier details to Tier 1 (T1), to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
  • Assist in preparing reports and analyses.
  • Provide necessary information regarding order status and delivery schedules.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, R&D, QC and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers
    • Communicate product specifications and requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Textiles, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a textile merchandising role or relevant internship.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of merchandising software is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of market trends and customer preferences in the textile industry.
