Jr Merchandiser

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the merchandising activities, ensuring smooth coordination between various departments, and contributing to the successful execution of product strategies. Responsibilities:
- Order Coordination:
- Assist in the coordination and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Communicate with suppliers to monitor production timelines and address any issues that may arise.
- Sample Management:
- Track and organize samples for office, meetings, and production reference.
- Follow up 3rd party testing and communicate with stakeholders.
- Updating the systems, maintain accurate and up to date records
- Download tech packs from Kubix and forward them to the suppliers.
- Provide Tier 2 (T2) supplier details to Tier 1 (T1), to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
- Assist in preparing reports and analyses.
- Provide necessary information regarding order status and delivery schedules.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, R&D, QC and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers
- Communicate product specifications and requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Textiles, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a textile merchandising role or relevant internship.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of merchandising software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of market trends and customer preferences in the textile industry.
