Our client is a leading organization having nearly 750 workforce in central province and it is a sister company of a conglomerate. Now they lookout for a dynamic, talented HR Professional to lead the HR function to support the overarching objectives of the organization in the capacity of;

Senior Manager - Human Resources Development

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the selected candidate will update and review all HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure they are aligned to deliver the highest levels of employee engagement, satisfaction, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the HR functions of the organization in delivering overall Human Resource Services for the divisions (HR operations, recruitment, talent development, performance management, employee engagement, and industrial relations).
  • Identify and implement suitable development interventions for all employees' training and development needs.
  • Develop performance management and compensation systems and policies.
  • Represent the company at statutory bodies in labor-related issues.
  • Handle general office administration functions and maintain a high level of discipline in the organization.

The ideal candidate profile

  • Possess Chartered Qualification in Human Resource Management from Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka or any equivalent qualification.
  • Having an MBA qualification would be advantageous.
  • Should possess more than 10 years of experience in a Senior Manager capacity.
  • Experience in a labor-intensive environment.
  • Exposure in a work environment with accreditation processes, performance evaluation, and strategic planning is mandatory.
  • A good knowledge of labor Laws with experience in the related industry.
  • Possess a strong & pleasing personality, leadership & excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, flexibility, along with the ability to influence and interact with personnel at all levels.
  • Age below 45 years.
