Crystal Martin Ceylon (Private) Limited is a subsidiary company of the Hong Kong Based Crystal International Group Limited, having 06 apparel manufacturing facilities island wide and providing employment to 5000 employees.
MANAGER - PATTERN TECHNICAL
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion to pursue a career in Pattern Technical. The ideal candidate should be an energetic team player with excellent communication, a proactive attitude, ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
- Applied technical knowledge and strong communication skills for develop new pattern
- Communicate pattern concerns with relevant buying offices
- Identifying new design, pattern, and technical methods from new innovations
- Giving the best cost-effective consumptions to sustain the business
- Guide pattern team to develop patterns according to garment tech pack
- Attend for weekly sample meeting and follow up pattern releasing for sampling
- Analyze Design, fit, pre-production sample for new style, identify possible production/technical issues which related to pattern that could be encountered and propose preventive measures to address any such issues thereby, ensuring a smooth production process.
- As a team, work with sample operator, merchandiser and all sample development team
- Participate in Development meetings to decide on samples to be developed, trims to be utilized and take technical construction decisions based on sample sketches along with the Product Development Manager
- Working with factory technical team to do some pattern adjustment according to smooth production
- The candidate should have Lectra experience including grading
- Team player to lead the pattern team
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 08 years' experience in a similar capacity
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in pattern making & grading or textile technology or an equivalent qualification
- Knowledge in Technical and Quality standards
- The candidate should have Lectra experience including grading
- Should be a team player to lead the pattern team
- Excellent communication and sound knowledge in ICT literacy
